Top Blockchain VCs and CEOs to Join Debate with Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Next Week in Las Vegas
Just as Apple Hits $1 Trillion, Co-Founder Steve Wozniak will anchor ChainXChange 2018, a series of critical debates on the future of blockchain, cryptocurrency and other technologies such as artificial intelligence with leaders from DNA Fund, Node Capital, Ripple, Paragon Coin, crypto skeptic/Nobel Prize-recipient Paul Krugman and some of the top minds in the field. Also joining will be United States Department of Justice Special Agent Lilia Infante, who pioneered the DOJ’s first official Cyber Investigative Task Force focusing on the use of cryptocurrency and the dark web in criminal investigations. She is a subject matter expert in advanced forensic blockchain analysis. The theme of the upcoming ChainXChange show in Las Vegas on August 13th through the 15th is “How Will You Change The World?”, it seems fitting that Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak will be anchoring speakers at the event. Apple recently became the first company ever to reach a valuation of one trillion dollars. Yahoo Finance reported on Steve Wozniak’s reaction here.
While many think from past headlines that Wozniak believes there’s a, “bitcoin bubble,” he continues to be a staunch supporter of both cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies and simply believes the best ideas and teams will survive in the long run, just like the internet companies that made it through past tech bubbles and plans to reveal his perspectives on what he believes will be necessary to thrive in this market. This may finally be the time when top blockchain leaders convince Economist Paul Krugman of the true lasting value of cryptocurrency in a titanic debate.
As a result of the event, Las Vegas has officially declared the week of August 13th as Blockchain Week. ChainXChange will feature certification classes on blockchain technology in the morning followed by a plethora of speakers throughout the day leading up to the keynote presentations in the evening. After a full day of learning and networking, the event is designed to cap off each night with entertainment fitting for Vegas. Monday night will kick off with anticipated visions of the future by Wired Magazine Editor-in-Chief Nicholas Thompson and Wall Street Journal Deputy Editor Samuel Walker, followed by flashback performers Salt N Peppa, Kid N Play, and Spinderella. ChainXChange speaker, A.I. Spokesperson, and Grammy Award winning musician Common will be Tuesday’s musical guest. Wednesday will be anchored by a surprise musical guest to close out the event with fitting flair. Top blockchain, cryptocurrency and mainstream press will attend and cover the event.
A special just-released promo code, “WEB30”, will be valid throughout the weekend or while supplies last to take 30% off conference admission. VIP options are available that will provide guests with a world-class experience and an exclusive opportunity to meet with the keynote speakers for an hour in a private setting.
Hotel rooms are almost sold out. Discounted rates are available at the Mandalay Bay, Delano, and Luxor. For more information, visit the ChainXChange website at www.chainxchange.com.
